ARTECH CNC Company recently completed a customized robot arm workflow solution for an industrial customer, successfully meeting the client’s automated production needs and earning full satisfaction.
Faced with the customer’s demand for continuous, streamlined material handling and processing, the R&D and engineering team of ARTECH CNC carried out in-depth on-site production analysis. Based on the client’s workshop layout and processing requirements, the team designed this set of multi-robot collaborative workflow system. The solution adopts dual robotic arms paired with long linear guide rails, matching feeding and processing stations. One robot is responsible for raw material picking and loading, while the other robot travels along the long slide rail to complete workpiece transfer, positioning and auxiliary processing. The whole production chain realizes automatic feeding, transferring and processing, greatly reducing manual intervention.
During the design phase, ARTECH CNC repeatedly simulated the whole workflow, optimized the robot moving path, coordination logic and safety interlock program to ensure stable operation and high efficiency. After the scheme drawing and virtual simulation were finished, the technical team shared the whole workflow demonstration with the customer in real time, explained the equipment working sequence, cycle time and maintenance points in detail.
The customer commented that this customized robot arm workflow perfectly fits their production line transformation target. The modular design brings good expandability, which can adapt to different sizes of workpieces in future production.
